Why there are no ads

Because we have had enough of them. Free apps paid for by advertising are everywhere, and the price is always the same: your attention, and your data. Jeecei shows none. Not a banner, not a video, not a box dressed up as content.

What keeps us alive is you, and only if you decide so. Everything that helps you find your group is free, and will stay free. The rest is comfort.

Why there is no account to create

Because an account is a database, and a database always ends up sold, breached, or demanded.

Jeecei works without an account. No email, no password, no phone number. Your purchases are tied to your Google account: you get them back on a new phone without asking us for anything. Your badges move with a code you export and keep wherever you like.

During an outing, what travels is encrypted from one phone to the other. The key goes through the QR code, face to face: it never passes through our servers. What reaches us is an unreadable block, for us too. We know how many outings are open and how many people are connected to them. Two numbers. We do not even know your first name.

How Jeecei makes money

In two ways, and you see both of them coming.

The extension. An outing lasts six hours for free. If the group wants to keep going, someone extends it, and everyone benefits.

The cosmetics. The style of your first name, the background of your card, the ring around your picture, the pin you drop on the map.

That is all. There is no third source, and there cannot be one: we hold no data that belongs to you. There is nothing to sell.
